I'm a married father of 3: Katie - graduate from Stonehill College, Kevin - graduate of St. John Fisher and R.I.T., and Karen -a graduate of St.Bonaventure University (Twice!). My wife (Andrea) and I recently celebrated our 35th anniversary. We moved to the Rochester suburbs 26 years ago, and enjoy the community in which we live.
In case you were wondering where "tall man in Kenya" came from, I certainly didn't make it up. William Kabis, the headmaster of Mbaka Oromo Primary School gave me that nickname. That's how most people refer to me. Some use "Father of us all," or "my height," but I prefer "Tallman."
I've been traveling to western Kenya primarily building/re-building schools, for 16 years now. It's humbling experience that I can only hope does as much good for the children of this community as they do for me and my family.
We've also moved into helping the health and welfare of some marvelous communities through a clinic construction in Maseno and a maternity center at Masai Mara.
Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like... comments, too. I love speaking about the work that we do, and the marvelous people for whom we do it.
